Here we have to covert gallons to ounces.

We know [tex] 1\;gallon=128\;ounce [/tex].

The amount Miriam has is [tex] 2.25\;gallons [/tex].

The number of 4‐ounce servings of punch Miriam can serve is

[tex] \frac{2.25\;gallon*128\;ounce/gallon}{4\;ounce} =\frac{2.25*128}{4} =72 [/tex].
