The solution of the equations represented by the 2 lines is the point of intersection of the two lines shown in the graph.

Here we can see that the two lines intersect at [tex] (1,-1) [/tex].

Therefore, the solution of the system of equations is [tex] x=1,y=-1 [/tex].

Note that two equations in 2 variables [tex] a_1x+b_1y=c_1,a_2x+b_2y=c_2 [/tex] has a unique solution if [tex] \frac{a_1}{b_1} \neq \frac{a_2}{b_2} [/tex].
