With $10 and a 15% coupon, the friend can only afford the small pizza.

$11.60 x 0.15 (the 15%) = $1.74 off the price

11.60 - 1.74 = 9.86

The new cost of the pizza would be $9.86 leaving you with 14 cents leftover.
