The lateral area of a circular cone of slant height [tex] l [/tex] and radius [tex] r [/tex] is

[tex] LSA=\pi r l [/tex].

Here [tex] LSA=555 \pi [/tex] and [tex] r=15.1\;cm [/tex].

Using the formula of the surface area,

[tex] LSA=\pi r l=555\pi \;cm^2\\
\pi (15.1) l=555\pi\\
l=\frac{555}{15.1}\\
l=36.8\;cm [/tex].

The slant height of the cone is [tex] 36.8\;cm [/tex].
