Leslie says that 5 multiplied by an even number always results in an even product. Is Leslie's statement correct?

Yes.  If you think about it, 5 multiplied by an odd number will always produce a number with the last digit 5.  5 multiplied by an even number will always result in a number with the last digit 0.  Since a number ending in 0 is even, Leslie's statement is correct.
