Equilateral triangle means all the side are equal.

Perimeter of equilaty triangle = 24 inch (given)
= 3×side
Therefore, side of equilateral triangle = 24/3 = 8 inch.
Now,.area of equilateral triangle = (√3/4)×{side×side}
= (√3/4)×{8×8}
= √3×2×8
= 27.71 sq inch

Now, rounding to nearest 10 we get,
= 27.70 sq inch
