We are given f(x) =3x and g(x) =2x

Now we have to find (g*f)(x).

so (g*f)(x) means we multiply f(x) and g(x).

So multiplying 3x and 2x,

3x * 2x = 6x²

So (g*f)(x) =6x²

If fx equals 3x that means f=3 and if gx equals 2x that means g=2. So if the problem is asking what g times f is, they realy mean 3 times 2.
This would make your answer:
6x
