you need to make the denominators of the fractions the same. The GCF is 24.

3/4 x 6 = 18/24

2/6 x 4 = 8/24

Now do 11 and 18/24 - 6 and 8/24

It equals 5 10/24 or simplified which is 5 5/12

Hope this help ! Have a good rest of your day :D
