Slope form M=y2-y1/x2-x2 M= -7 -(-1)/-1-3 M= -6/-4 M=3/2  So 3/2 is your slope   Now  use one if the pair points (3,-1) and slope to find b. -1=2/3(3)+b -1=2+b -1-2=b -3=b  Y=2/3x-3
