6(-3v+1)=5(-2v-2)

Distribute 6 into -3v+1

-18v+6 = 5(-2v-2)

Distribute 5 into -2v-2

-18v+6 = -10v-10

Add 18v to both sides

6 = 8v - 10

Add 10 to both sides

16 = 8v

Divide 8 on both sides

Final Answer: 2 = v
