Does accuracy and precision mean the same thing

Contrary to what you might believe, accuracy and precision are not the same thing. Accuracy is how close you are to the actual value, whilst precision is how varied your guesses are. The closer you are to the actual value, the more accurate you are. And the less varied your guesses are, the more precise you are. Refer to the bullseye below as an example:
