Y= -3X;(2,-6) IS THIS A SOLUTION OR NOT A SOLUTION

2 = x
-6 = y

⓵ Replace “x” in the equation with its value and solve the equation to see if y = -6 :

Y = -3x

Y = -3(2)

Y = -6

→ When you replace the “x” with 2 in the equation, y is equal to -6, which means that it is in fact a solution!
