I assume the trouble with this is the > instead of an =.

If this is the case, just pretend like it is an equals and solve normally with one extra rule in mind. Any time you multiply or divide by a negative remember you need to flip the sign. For instance:
-3 < -1
Multiply by 2
-6 < -2
Multiply by -2
12 > 4

The reasoning behind this is simple, while x may be bigger than b, -x is smaller than -b because x has a greater absolute value.
