Answer: Yes, they are equal

lets see how,

solve the given equation,

–3(0.15 – 0.2 + 0.25p)

Step 1: Inside the bracket solve the similar variables i.e. (0.15 - 0.2)

So it will become,

= -3 ( -0.05 + 0.25p )

Step 2: Multiply each term in the bracket by -3

So it will be,

((-3*-0.05 ) + (-3 * 0.25p))

= 0.15 - 0.75p

Hence 0.15 – 0.75p  is equal to –3(0.15 – 0.2 + 0.25p )
