The Assyrian legal code was similar to the code of Hammurabi, so it can be described as CUNEIFORM LAW. The Assyrian law was even more brutal. But the code of Hammurabi was made several centuries earlier. The laws were also caved in stone - cuneiform system - just like the Hammurabi code.
