There is 12 inches in 1 foot.

There is 3 feet in 1 yard.

12 inches divided by 1 foot = 27 inches divided by x feet.

12/1 = 27/x

12 = 27/x

12x = 27

x = 27/12

x = 2.25 feet

3 feet divided by 1 yard = 2.25 feet divided by x yards.

3/1 = 2.25/x

3 = 2.25/x

3x = 2.25

x = 2.25/3

x = 0.75

The answer is already rounded to the nearest hundredth so the answer is:

0.75 yd
