There are multiple benefits from wildfires. For one, wildfires can help clear out invasive and nonnative plants, which can be harmful to native plants, so clearing them out gives native species more room. Also, they can help get rid of diseased trees and other diseased plants. These diseased plants can spread diseases to other plants.
