If you triple 4 you get 12, subtract 2 every day and in 6 days you will get to 0.

4 x 3 = 12 
12 - 2 x 6 = 0

Well 4x3=12 and if you subtract 2 every day than it will take 6 days to get to zero because 12/2=6
