The area formula of a circle is:
A = [tex] \pi [/tex]r²

given is the diameter = 44 ft so the radius is
r = [tex] \frac{d}{2} = \frac{44}{2} = 22 ft[/tex]

Apply the formula
A = [tex] \pi [/tex](22)²
   = 484[tex] \pi [/tex] ft²

Answer is the second options, B. 484[tex] \pi [/tex] ft²
