Theme: What do we do for our lives? Our Town sends a warning about how we can live our lives to the fullest: to the fullest. We should cherish every moment because we will never get another chance. The play flashes back and forth in time from Emily's wedding day to her death, reinforcing the fact that our lives are finite.
