the force is given by the equation

q*v*B sin@

thus it will be

Formula

F = q*v*B Sin (theta)

Givens

q = 1.6*10^-19 coulombs

v = 7.8*10^4 m/s

B = 3 Tesla

phi = 45 degrees.

Solution

F = q*v*B * sin(45)

F = 1.6*10^-19 * 7.8*10^4 * 3 * Sin(45)

F = 2.6 * 10 ^-14
