Answer:

Lol I just took this text couple weeks ago. The answer is (1,1) Solve the system of equations by substitution.

3/8x + 1/3y = 17/24

x + 7y = 8

x = -7y + 8 and substituting it to the first equation

3/8x + 1/3y = 17/24

3/8(-7y + 8 )+ 1/3y = 17/24

Solving for the value of y = 1

And substituting y =1 to the second equation

X= 1

(1, 1)
