In 1967 a minimum wage worker would receive $84 for 60 hours of work. How much would the worker receive for 5 hours of work?

First, divide 84 by 60

84/60 = 1.4

The worker make $1.40 per hour.

1.4 * 5 = 7

The worker would receive $7 for 5 hours of work.
