Momentum:                                                  

· Can be found by multiplying                    

mass by velocity.

· Used to calculate force that

acts or is moving.

· Records only instantaneous

effects of a force that acts on

the system.

Inertia:

· Calculated as the integral force

over said period of time.

· The value of the force is necessary

in order to calculate it.

· Records the effects of both the force

acting on the system and how long it

acts for.
