Answer:

A. -6

Step-by-step explanation:

[tex]f(x)=3x-1\\\\[/tex]

In order to find [tex]f(-2)[/tex] we will plugin [tex]x=-2[/tex]

[tex]f(-2) = 3(-2)-1\\f(-2)=(3\times(-2))-1\\f(-2)=-6-1[/tex]

[tex]f(-2)=-7[/tex]

[tex]g(x)=-x+6[/tex]

In order to find [tex]g(5)[/tex] we will plugin [tex]x=5[/tex]

[tex]g(5)=-5+6[/tex]

[tex]g(5)=1[/tex]

[tex]f(-2)+g(5)\\=-7+1\\=-6[/tex]

∴ [tex]f(-2)+g(5)=-6[/tex]
