The slope of this equation will be 2,

so m = 2.

To solve for the slope, all you need to do is convert this equation into slope-intercept form which is  y = -2x + 5.

From there, you can tell the slope will be -2 since it's in place of the m (the slope).

Hope this helps and have a great day!
