cancel equal terms on both sides of the equation -10+3-2x=-1 , calculate the sum -7-2x=-1 , move constant to the right side and change it’s sign -2x=-1+7 , calculate the sum again -2x=6 , divide both sides of the equation by -2 which will give you your answer as x=-3
