Number of signatures Pat have = 160

Number of signatures Cam Pane have = 80

Solution:

Let x be the number of signatures Cam Pane had.

Number of signatures Pat Tronize had = twice of x = 2x

Total number of signatures both had = 240

Came Pane had signatures + Pat Tronize had signatures = 240

⇒ x + 2x = 240

⇒ 3x = 240

Divide by 3 on both side of the equation.

[tex]$\Rightarrow\frac{3x}{3} =\frac{240}{3}[/tex]

⇒ x = 80

⇒ 2x = 2(80) = 160

Hence

Number of signatures Pat have = 160

Number of signatures Cam Pane have = 80
