Answer:

The astronaut will weigh 204.5N on the Moon

Explanation:

Weight, w = m*g

where;

m is the mass of the astronaut in kg

g is acceleration due to gravity ( g = 9.8 m/s² on Earth and 1.67 m/s²  on the moon)

Given w = 1200N

m = w/g

m = 1200/9.8

m = 122.4489 kg

Thus, mass of the astronaut  is 122.4489kg

weight of the astronaut on the moon = 122.4489*1.67 = 204.5N

Therefore, the astronaut will weigh 204.5N on the Moon
