It takes 20-30seconds to keep information in a short term memory before it forgotten , just as it is to jade, she wasn't paying attention to what Wilson told her ,so what ever Wilson said to jade at that moment is kept in her short term memory for about 20-30seconds before forgetting it,because she was not paying attention.
