the formula for kinetic energy =  1/2*m*(v^2)
mass= 0.5kg
velocity=10m/s
K.E=1/2(0.5*(10^2))
K.E=1/2*0.5*100
K.E=0.5*50
K.E=25 kgm^2/s^2

KE= 1/2*mv²,            mass = 0.5kg, v = 10m/s

= (1/2)*0.5*10 * 10

KE = 25 Joules.
