The subtraction function

[tex](k-x)(x)[/tex]

is defined as the subtraction of the two equations, representing each function:

[tex](k-h)(x)=k(x)-h(x)[/tex]

So, we have

[tex](k-h)(x)=k(x)-h(x)=14x-2-(2x^3+4x-8)=-2x^3+10x+6[/tex]
