A canoe is the oldest form of watercraft (vessel) given to us by Aboriginal cultures. The elegance of modern world watercrafts are influenced from the structure and functioning of canoe. Aboriginals were using this technology back in 1640 in coastal regions of northern Australia. During modernization, these structures were extensively developed to support transportation of both goods and humans leading to population growth and expansion.
