Solutions

To solve the system lets use substitution

[tex]2x+8y=8[/tex]

[tex]2(-4y+4)+8y=8[/tex]

[tex]8=8[/tex]

This is a dependent system.

------------ Now lets solve the same system using Elimination

Our first step will be to multiply the given system by 2

[tex]2x+8y=8 2x+8y=8[/tex]

[tex]0=0[/tex]
