I live in New York and I regularly see people getting off on trains, creepy alleyways with weird noises coming from them, drunk people doing crazy stuff to regular Samaritans and police sirens at 3am, to give you a general idea of what it's like. Not all of NY is like that, just the bad parts, like Orange County and late Manhattan.
