PEMDAS is something you can use as an easy
way to remember your order of operations.
The order of operations gives us instructions on how to
simplify expressions that contain more than one operation.
I have attached the order of operations below.
The reason multiplication and division as well as addition and subtraction are together is because you can do either one first as you read the problem from left to right so they are based on appearance in the problem so they are equally important.
