Recall that the roman numeral "L" has a value of 50. Meanwhile, the value of "XL" is L - X = 50 - 10 = 40. Comparing their numerical values, we have 50 > 40 or L > XL. This means that in Roman numeral, we find that L is actually larger than XL. Thus, the answer is in Roman Numerals.
