8 + 6.9x what is the value of x

8 + 6.9x = 0

(Setting equation to 0 to figure out what x could be)

6.9x = -8

(Subtract 8 to both sides to isolate the x)

X = -8/6.9 or -1.15942

(Divide 6.9 to isolate x and you get your answer)
