x+2y-c=0

Using rise over run we are going to find slope,

y2-y1/x2-x1

4-8/4+4

-1/2

so,slope is -1/2.so we have equation y=mx+c to find c.

8=-1/2*(-4)+c

16=4+c

c=16-4

c=12

putting the value of c in y=mx+c

y=-1/2x+c

or,2y=-x+c

x+2y-c=0 is the required equation.
