Explanation:

Hey there!

We know that the objects in vacuum falls equally on the surface or bottom. As there is no air resistance in vacuum, the objects has equal stabdard acceleration. (i.e g = 9.8m/s^2)

So, the acceleration due to gravity is 9.8m/s^2.
