exponents are the small numbers at the top of the regular sized numbers. so like if I were to have 4 with an exponent of 2, you would do 4x4. if the exponent was 5, you would do 4×4×4×4×4. I cant write exponents on my pjone though, sorry. ●° pretend those are both numbers. the second one is the exponent.
