Sue walked 3.38 miles and if Alex did 5 times that many —- 5 multiplied by 3.38 = 16.9

Alex walked 16.9 miles

And if Dan walked 4.68 more than him you have to use addition: 16.9 + 4.68 = 21.58

Dan walked 21.58 miles
