This is because of we multiply 247 by 5, we get 1,235 and we can add 2 so we can have remainder 2

The difference between the next factor of 5 and the last one which has 247 as the multiple of 5 is 5

So adding 1,2,3 and 4 to the product will give a number that is not up to the next multiple of 5 and thus we can have our dividend with the remainder
