Divide the figure into a semicircle with diameter 8 m and the remaining into a rectangle . The area of rectangle :

4 metres × 16 metres

= 64 sq. meter

Area of semicircle :

(pi×r^2)/2

= {(22/7)× (8/2)^2}/2

= (22×4×4)/(7×2)

= 176/7

= 25.14 sq. meter

Now , area of whole figure= (64+25.14)sq. meter

= 89.14 sq. meter
