Answer:length = 9   width = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

length =3x

width = x

perimeter = 24 = 3x + x +3x + x = 8x

8x = 24 therefore x = 3

so length = 3(3) = 9   width = 3

so perimeter = 3+9+3+9 = 24
