(1.8)(1.5x)+(1.8)(−2.6y)+(−2.5)(2x)+(−2.5)(1.5y)

you'd get: 2.7x+ −4.68y + −5x + −3.75y

Step #2: Combine like terms

(2.7x + −5x)+(−4.68y + −3.75y)
