There are two steps to this question.

First, find how many miles Jesse ran.
Jesse ran 4 times (distance Jake ran), which is a total of 8 miles.

Second, convert miles to feet.
8 miles times 5280 feet per mile, is 42,240 feet.

Therefore the solution is 42,240 feet.
