The solution to a system of linear equations represent the place where the lines intersect. P.S. If the lines are parallel, they will never intersect and there is NO solution.  If the lines are coincident (same line) there are infinitely many points of intersection so there are MANY solutions.  If the lines cross, then there is ONE solution.
