If f(x)= 9x^2+2x-3, find f(-1).

f(-1)= 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Just plug -1 into all Xs

and split it into 2 seperate problems for the time being

[9 times (-1)^2] + [2(-1)-3]

-1 squared is positive 1  times the 9 is just 9

Plus  2 times -1 is -2 minus 3 is -5

combine the two seperate problems you have

9-5 the subtract and

f(-1)= 4
