Answer:

After Hawaii was annexed by the United States, it later became the 50th state. Hawaii was used as a naval base in World War II. Also some of the Hawaiian culture was lost after the annexation. Although, more and more people from the continental United States went to visit and some stayed to work. With all these people visiting, Hawaii became a main tourist attraction due to it's pristine beaches and warm climate.
